野球頌歌5 –台視棒球轉播片頭曲〈食人族先生〉(Mr. Cannibal)

台視棒球轉播片頭曲〈食人族先生〉(Mr. Cannibal)演奏版

1972年台視把〈食人族先生〉(Mr. Cannibal)的演奏曲版本作為少棒賽轉播的片頭曲，對三、四、五年級的台灣人而言，曾共同經歷過以小孩打棒球追求民族自信，三更半夜起床「瘋」棒球實況轉播的年代，只要聽到這首音樂就會想起棒球。

這首俏皮的〈食人族先生〉原唱是安迪費雪(Andy Fisher)，他是一位在奧地利長大的英國佬。因此，安迪費雪在演唱這首以英語為主的歌曲中參雜了部分德語，讓此歌於1966年一炮而紅，一直到60年代末期，在德語地區此曲仍非常流行。〈食人族先生〉曾停留在荷蘭流行音樂榜(Dutch charts)達7週，最高名次是1966年11月26日的第24名。後來，赴德國發展的塞爾維亞裔歌手貝塔易力奇(Bata Illic)將此歌改成德語的版本演唱，亦頗受歡迎。

只是不知當年台視是哪位仁兄天生慧「耳」？挑中〈食人族先生〉(Mr. Cannibal)的演奏曲作為少棒賽轉播的片頭曲，也許要問盛竹如或傅達仁先生吧！而這首演奏曲版本是由哪個樂團演奏的，亦有待查證。
