〈距洛杉磯99哩〉(99 Miles From L.A.)-洋溢著相思的公路歌曲

1973年，艾伯特漢蒙(Albert Hammond)以〈南加州從來不下雨〉("It Never Rains in Southern California)一曲成名後，於1975年和作詞名家海爾大衛（Hal David）攜手創作單曲〈距洛杉磯99哩〉(99 Miles From L.A.)奪下抒情排行冠軍。
同年，賽門與嘎芬柯二重唱( Simon & Garfunkel )的主唱阿特嘎芬柯(Art Garfunkel)於專輯《突圍》(Breakaway)中收錄翻唱了此曲。抒情歌王強尼馬賽斯(Johnny Mathis)也於此年發行的《情感》( Feelings)專輯中翻唱此歌。拉丁歌王胡立歐以格雷西亞斯(Julio Iglesias)則於1990年《星夜》(Starry Night)專輯及2004年《情歌》(Love Songs)精選收錄了此歌。這首公路歌曲，藉由主人翁開著車一路上幻想著愛侶相伴，藉著流洩的吉他擊弦指法還有空靈的鍵盤與弦樂的襯托，洋溢著滿滿的相思之情。
