1982年時因等待當兵，我和死黨們在一家書局打工，居然在倉庫書堆

裏尋獲一捲二氧化鉻錄音帶，裡面都是一些轉錄自黑膠唱片的民謠搖

滾經典，這是我第一次聽到這首連環閃電(Chain Lightning)。吉他刷弦

行進，背景和聲與弦樂層疊堆砌，體驗唐‧麥克林對愛的迸裂吶喊與

震撼詮釋。

在時隔26年的陰霾午後完成這首歌詞的中譯，一探當年未深究的歌詞意境。

惱人的憂鬱 無盡的藍調　Langston Hughes -The Weary Blues

您所欣賞的影片是由哈佛教授艾倫‧杜威‧卡拉漢(Dr. Allen Dwight Callahan)朗讀藍斯頓‧休斯(Langston Hughes)的詩作疲靡的藍調(The Weary Blues)，可惜影片配樂及演出者仍未明。
身為黑人的藍斯頓‧休斯(1902~1967)以文藝創作力抗種族歧視與隔離政策，被尊稱為哈林桂冠詩人(Poet Laureate of Harlem)或哈林文藝復興詩人(Harlem Renaissance poet)。休斯承繼了華特‧惠特曼悲天憫人的胸懷，詠嘆社會底層黑人的遭遇，而在美國文學上享有尊榮。藍斯頓‧休斯於1923年寫了「疲靡的藍調」這首詩，描寫一位藍調鋼琴樂師的故事，其第一本出版的詩集也以此為名。以下是這首The Weary Blues的中譯，摘自尤克強著《未盡的春雨珠光》。
